Blog Year in Review

Happy New Year! Although Max was zonked out in bed at midnight, Molly decided to get up and welcome in the New Year with us (which is only fitting, seeing as it is her very first one). We all watched the ball drop together and then our little party girl was tucked into bed. It's hard to believe that only a year ago, Molly was just barely more than a twinkle in her daddy's eye. ;)

And, since it is the trendy thing to do (and we all know that I'm ALL about the trendy ;), here is a look back at 2006 using the first sentence of the first blog entry of each month.

January - Max's first birthday came and went -- we now have a one year old in the house!

February - Yes, Max is going to be a big brother!

March - Today marks the anniversary of Max's homecoming -- it's hard to believe he's already been home a whole year!

April - Max took his first "official" steps this week!

May - Well, it seems like I just can't do anything the easy way (warning: lots of pregnancy details to follow).

June - I have no doctor's appointments this week, so no real news to report!

July - Well, after a nice calm patch, it looks like baby might be gearing up to come sooner than later.

August - Introducing ... the newest member of our family.

September - It's business and usual over at our house today -- neither Mom nor Dad has to work, except for changing diapers, feeding babies, doing laundry, picking up toys, or cleaning little faces and hands. ;)

October - Molly is two months old now and had her well baby checkup yesterday.

November - While driving to work the other day, I drove past my favorite coffee "shop" (is it really a shop if it's stuck in a strip mall?) and had an urge to stop in and pick up some coffee (decaf, of course).

December - After my last post, it appears that the weather has decided to get with the program -- it's now cold and blustery and I've actually seen snow, so let the countdown to Christmas begin!

Oh dear, I'm afraid I'm even more dull and boring than I thought I was! Well, there's always next year ... ;)
