A Perfect Saturday

My favorite way to spend a Saturday morning has always been to curl up with a good book and a strong cup of coffee and hang out in my pjs for a couple of hours. As you might imagine, I'm not presented with the opportunity for a lazy morning as often as I was before I had kids.

This morning, while Max napped, I sat on the comfiest couch in the sunniest window and indulged in the tinest cup of coffee while I read Jo-Ann Mapson's latest novel, The Owl and Moon Cafe. I did discover that there is one thing that made my favorite weekend diversion even better -- sharing it with the sweet baby who was sleeping in my arms. Perfect.
