What a Difference a Year Makes
It's been a fairly calm week in the Buying Mockingbirds house ... well, if you can consider any week calm that involves a bizillion trips to school and back, a handfull of junior high basketball games/practices, several cold-stricken family members, a school project or two, general Halloween costume insanity, some anniversary party planning, and a field trip for my photography class (more details to come). In lieu of a real post, I just had to post a couple of "then and now" pictures.
Max - last October and this October:
Molly - last October and this October:
Wow, they sure have changed a lot in a year. I don't have any little babies any more -- I have a full-fledged toddler and an (almost) preschooler. It makes me happy and sad at the same time.
On the cold front, I'm feeling almost better and Max is on the mend. Molly escaped with nothing more than an overnight fever, although Big Sister managed to get the crud as well (although she's on the mend also). Dad and Big Brother appear to have escaped catching our plague (*knock on wood*).

Oh my gosh, they have gotten so big! Max just looks like such a real boy in that picture. No baby chub, just long, lanky boy. And Molly has personality and flare now--a big chance from the Boppy-propped tongue-thruster of last year! They are beautiful!
