Thanksgiving Redux

Even though we had a wonderful feast at Grandma and Grandpa's yesterday, Dad and I thought it would be fun to whip up another Thanksgiving dinner today. Although it is awfully nice to be treated to a holiday dinner without having to slave over a hot stove all day, there's something to be said for a house that is filled with the smell of roasting turkey, sauteing onions, and freshly baked bread (not to mention a fridge and freezer full of tasty leftovers).

So, instead of heading out to fight the crowds at a ridiculously early hour, we stayed home, took naps, cooked a whole lot of food, and enjoyed hanging around the house. I think I'll round off a very pleasant day with a piece of pie and another nap. ;)
