dancing, spinning, singing songs
finally sleeping all night long
popping up to greet the day
wanting everything HER way
lost in worlds of lets pretend
willing games to never end
curled up, sleepy, in my lap
refusing, still, to take a nap
testing limits, learning how
much too big for diapers now
pudgy arms and joyful hugs
bouncing, laughing, full of love
jumping, both feet off the floor
not a baby any more
