The Best

Max was being especially sweet right before nap time (why is it he is always the sweetest, nicest, and most well behaved when he knows he's due for a nap??). I was working on the computer and he scooted up next to me in the chair, leaned his head on my shoulder, and said, "You the best mama that ever you are." Awww! A few minutes later he put his arm around me and told me I was his best friend. Little moments like that just melt your heart ... and make you wonder what terrifically naughty thing he's trying to make up for!
